We started Maccentric in 2006 as a way to give back to the Shreveport-Bossier Macintosh Community.
At that time there wasn’t an Apple Authorized Service Provider in the area, which meant that you had to send your machine off or drive to Dallas. We didn’t like those options so we created our own.
Our shop might have only started in 2006, but not our Apple love. That started long before. Growing up we had SE’s, LC II’s, iLamps and Quicksilver towers. We were raised recognizing the rainbow apple logo, able to recite the Think Different commercial and have fond memories of watching Pirates of Silicon Valley for the first time. We lived through the clone wars and remember where we were when we heard Jobs had died.
In short, we are Mac users helping Mac users. That’s the Maccentric difference.
